Back in the middle of October we got a very sneak peek at what was rumored to be the model for the shoe box that Kobe Bryant s latest Nike Basketball signature sneaker was going to come in. Several sneakerheads felt it was about time for this to happen as the Black Mamba s previous Nike Basketball designs came in generic Nike boxes. Today we have come across a couple of more, brighter images of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe box (as well as of the black/yellow Nike Zoom Kobe VI). The picture here shoes the box in all black with the Black Mamba logo, and right above that it reads VENOM. In the past Nike and Kobe have designed shoes colorways to match with schools, for example the Nike nike air max 2017 sale Zoom Kobe V Rice Lower Merion. Looks like this tradition is passing on to the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, with a Duke colorway surfacing. A mostly black coated with a blue scale texture, and a white swoosh makes up the shoes upper. Blue makes an appearance on the laces, inner linning and outsole. The shoe sits on top of a white foam midsole which helps contrast the shoe. Now we ve come across some more high-quality images of this upcoming Nike Basketball release. It is likely that these will release around the time of the NBA s now annual Christmas day double header, which Kobe Bryant has often been a part of. This holiday season, Nike surely plans to get in the holiday spirit- even with some of its Nike Basketball designs such as the Grinch Nike Zoom Kobe VI. But for those of you who want a more traditional Nike silhouette, the brand has prepared the Nike Dunk high pictured here covered in burgundy canvas, a slightly speckled sole, and black lining. These have dropped as part of the brand s holiday 2010 collection and can now be purchased from several Nike retailers worldwide.
This past Spring we were able to catch a glimpse of the Nike Shox Vision PE designed for Brad Miller in white with red. Now, the Houston Rocket has received another home colorway of the Nike Shox Pro PE. It comes with a white base and red accents on the mid panels and shocks. There is also a hint of silver on the heel- a touch that has become somewhat of a common characteristic to a number of Nike Shox releases. The Nike Hyperdunk PEs continue rolling out. Last month we saw that the University of Southern California and Texas each received some personalized Nike Hyperdunks for each respective college s basketball team. Now we d like to show you a Nike Hyperdunk 2010 that was personalized for the Maui Invitational and those teams that participated in it. The shoe comes in a generic white/grey colorway. However, eight different colored shoelaces were provided in order for the different colleges to differentiate each from the other (including Connecticut, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Kentucky). In June of this past summer, the sensational young Sacramento Kings point guard stopped by the Grand Opening event of the House of Hoops location located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
